QUEEN OF HEARTS RAFFLE

       RULES OF THE GAME

• The purchase of a raffle ticket is evidence of the player’s agreement with all rules as described below. 

• All tickets are $1.00 cash each with no limit on the number of tickets that may be purchased by a player. 

• Tickets may be purchased immediately after the weekly drawing and up to 15 minutes prior to the current drawing. All ticket stubs must be in the ticket box by 8pm

• Purchased tickets after 7:45pm are entitled to a refund. 

• Each player must print his/her first and last name, address, phone number and envelope number on the ticket. Only one person’s name, address, phone number and one envelope number are to be on each ticket stub. If more than one envelope number is ont the ticket or a number is not on the ticket stub or that envelope is not available, the individual if in attendance will have an opportunity to select a remaining envelope. If the individual is not present and their number is not available, another ticket will be drawn on their behalf using the application, random number generator.

• A player does not need to be present to have their envelope drawn. 

• Every Thursday at the time and place listed on the ticket, a ticket will be drawn from the ticket box by the raffle chair or his/her designee. 

• If the chosen envelope contains the Queen of Hearts, the winner will receive 50% of the jackpot amount, based on ticket sales and the updated board will be displayed on the Oxford Wildcat Booster Club Facebook page and website oxfordwildcatboosters.com.

• The Queen of Hearts wins the raffle. Other cards that will pay out are the two Jokers. If a Joker is drawn, the player will receive $100.

• Once a card is selected, it will be removed from play for the remainder of each game and will be shown face up on the board. 

• Each week after the drawing, all tickets for that week’s drawing will be discarded and destroyed. 

• The Queen of Hearts Raffle drawing will begin September 12, 2024 and will run select Thursdays until May 1, 2025.  The drawing takes place at 8pm. There is one drawing per week and the game continues until the Queen of Hearts is drawn. Once drawn, the following week will begin a new game. The last drawing will be May 1, 2025. On May 1, 2025, the drawings will continue until a winner is pulled, thus ending the raffle.

• All winning players are responsible for any taxes that relate to the winnings. A W-2G will be issued to any player who has drawn the Queen of Hearts. 

• All players must be 18 years of age or older

• All winners must provide a photo ID to claim his or her prize. 

• The Queen of Hearts Board will be displayed at G’s Pizzeria, 925 N Lapeer, Oxford, MI 48371

• The Board will be locked, secured and attached to the wall. 

• Oxford Wildcat Booster Club reserves the right to cancel the weekly drawing based upon inclement weather. The drawing would resume on the next scheduled date. 

• This game is intended to conform to all state requirements and regulations set forth by the State of Michigan. 

• These rules are in effect from the beginning of ticket sales August 16, 2024 - May 1, 2025
